As a photographer, I find that classy erotic photography offers a unique and creative outlet to capture the alluring beauty of the human form with grace and sophistication. It allows me to side step the explicit and delve into the realm of artistry, where I can employ subtle lighting techniques, thoughtfully composed scenes, and my technical skills to create captivating and visually stimulating images.
Classy erotic photography is all about conveying intimacy, passion, and the intricate details of the human body. I explore the interplay of light and shadow, highlighting the curves, lines, and textures that make each individual unique. This genre empowers me to present the human body as a work of art, igniting emotions and desires, all while maintaining a sense of refinement and allure.
Through my work, I offer a fresh perspective on sensuality, inviting viewers to appreciate the aesthetics of desire in an elegant and tasteful manner.
What is the difference between Erotic & Boudoir Photography?
Boudoir photography is a sensual yet elegant genre that focuses on capturing intimate, romantic, and often playful portraits of individuals, typically in lingerie or soft clothing. Its primary purpose is to celebrate beauty, confidence, and personal milestones—whether as a gift for a partner or an act of self-love.
Boudoir sessions are often styled to feel luxurious and empowering, with soft lighting, flattering poses, and a focus on the subject’s personality and comfort. These sessions are especially popular among brides-to-be, new mothers, and women marking a life milestone who want to feel glamorous and confident.
Erotic photography, on the other hand, takes intimacy to a more provocative and artistic level. While still tasteful and highly stylized, erotic imagery is more explicit, highlighting the raw sensuality and allure of the human form.
It may include nudity or more daring poses, often embracing shadows, curves, and emotional intensity to evoke desire and passion. Erotic photography is ideal for individuals looking to explore and express their sexuality in a bold, artistic, and empowering way.
The key difference lies in intention—boudoir is often a celebration of self-confidence, while erotic photography delves deeper into the visual language of desire.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I expect in an erotic boudoir shoot?
Expect a personalised, pampering experience from start to finish. When you arrive at my private Melbourne studio, you’ll be warmly welcomed by my all-female team. We often begin with a bit of luxury – relax with a glass of champagne while my professional hair and makeup artist helps you get glammed up. During this time, we’ll chat about the looks you want to achieve, go through any outfits you’ve brought, and plan out the shoot. Don’t worry if you didn’t bring much – I have an amazing wardrobe of lingerie and accessories you’re welcome to use at no extra cost.
Once you’re camera-ready, it’s just you and me in the studio. I’ll demonstrate poses for you to mirror and cheer you on as you try them – no modeling experience needed at all! My studio is a judgment-free space for you to express yourself. We’ll go at your pace and make adjustments so you feel completely comfortable. We can explore different sets, props, and outfit changes to capture a variety of looks – from soft and romantic to bold and glamorous – whatever reflects you.
Throughout the session, I’ll be offering plenty of encouragement (and probably cracking a joke or two) to help those nerves melt away. Most of all, expect to have fun and feel empowered. Many clients tell me that after a few minutes, it feels more like a fun hangout than a photo shoot. I strive to make the experience uplifting and confidence-boosting – like spending an afternoon with a supportive friend who just happens to have a camera.
After your shoot, we’ll schedule a viewing session about a week later so you can see your images on the big screen and select your favorites. Every image you choose will be professionally retouched to your liking. I truly believe every body is worthy of being seen, celebrated, and remembered – and your boudoir shoot will reflect that philosophy from start to finish.
How do I prepare for an erotic boudoir photoshoot?
Preparation is simpler than you might think – and I’ll guide you every step of the way. Here are some quick tips:
Plan your outfits and accessories. Bring a variety of pieces that make you feel fabulous – 2–3 favorite lingerie sets, maybe a cozy off-shoulder sweater, or a crisp shirt (even a partner’s shirt or something meaningful). I also have a huge studio wardrobe full of corsets, bralettes, robes, shoes, and props in sizes 6 to 24 – you’re welcome to use anything.
Pamper yourself in the days leading up. Get any grooming (waxing, nails, etc.) a few days beforehand. Drink lots of water and get a good night’s sleep the day before. Wash your hair the night prior, and moisturize so your skin is fresh and hydrated. If you’re planning a spray tan, go light and do it a few days ahead so it looks natural.
On the day, keep it comfy. Arrive in loose clothing to avoid marks on your skin. No makeup needed – I’ll take care of that with a full styling session. While you’re getting glammed up, relax with a coffee or champagne and let the nerves settle.
Most importantly, bring your beautiful self and an open mind. You don’t need to know how to pose – that’s my job. I’ll guide you the entire way. This is your time to shine, feel empowered, and enjoy the process.
How much does an erotic boudoir photoshoot cost in Melbourne?
My boudoir photography packages start at $1,300 for a petite session, which includes a shorter shoot and a curated selection of images.
A popular mid-range option is the “Little Bombshell” – a 60-minute shoot with professional hair and makeup and a beautiful custom photo book – priced at $1,600. On the high end, deluxe packages can go up to around $3,600 for a full boudoir experience with extended shoot time, outfit changes, and luxury printed products.
Most clients spend between $1,800 and $2,800 depending on what they’re looking to take home. All sessions include professional hair and makeup, private use of the studio and wardrobe, and a personal design appointment to review your images.
I also like to add special touches – like refreshments on the day of your shoot – to make it feel extra luxe. If you’d like the full pricing guide or want help deciding which option suits you best, just reach out. I’m happy to talk it through and help you choose a package you’ll love.
I’m nervous – how do you ensure privacy and comfort?
Feeling nervous is totally normal – nearly all of my clients do at first! That’s why I’ve created a space where you can relax and feel 100% safe.
My studio is private and all-female. It’s just you, me, and my hair/makeup artist. Once your styling is done, it’s just the two of us. No onlookers, no interruptions, no judgment. This one-on-one environment helps you feel safe, seen, and supported.
I’ll guide you gently. I’ll talk with you, learn what you’re comfortable with, and demonstrate poses. We’ll play your favorite music and adjust the pace to suit how you’re feeling. It’s completely okay to take breaks – the session flows with you. Clients often tell me they forget they’re even in a photoshoot and just start having fun.
Confidentiality is guaranteed. Your photos will never be shared unless you give written permission. I never post images online or use them in my portfolio without your consent. Most of my clients choose to keep their photos private, and I absolutely respect that. If you do want to share some, you can choose what and how – anonymous shots, face hidden, or only certain poses.
Your comfort and trust are everything to me. I’m honored each time someone steps into my studio, and I’ll do everything I can to ensure you feel empowered and respected from beginning to end.
Do you provide outfits or props?
Yes – and I’ve built quite the collection! I have a wardrobe full of corsets, robes, bralettes, lingerie in sizes 6 to 24, and shoes in sizes 6 to 10. You’re welcome to use any of it during your shoot.
I also have a range of props and set pieces – velvet couches, vintage chairs, ornate mirrors, feathered fans, pearl necklaces, and even a retro salon hairdryer. These give us so many creative options to style your shoot in a way that feels totally “you.”
That said, I always recommend bringing anything that’s personal or meaningful. Favorite lingerie, a leather jacket, heels, or even your partner’s shirt can add an extra layer of intimacy to your images. We’ll mix and match what you bring with what I have, and together we’ll create looks that reflect your style and story.
Will my photos be kept private?
Absolutely. Your photos will always remain private unless you give me explicit written permission to share them. I understand how personal and intimate boudoir photography is, and I handle every image with complete confidentiality.
After your shoot, your images are securely stored and only shared with you at your private viewing session. I don’t publish images on my website, social media, or portfolio without your full consent – ever.
If you choose to allow me to share certain photos, that’s amazing and very much appreciated – but it’s always your choice. Many clients prefer to keep everything private, and that is completely respected.
This is your experience, your body, and your decision. You can rest assured that your privacy and comfort are my top priority, always.
Can my partner join in?
Absolutely – couples sessions are a beautiful way to celebrate connection and intimacy. If you’d like your partner to be part of your shoot, just let me know in advance and we’ll tailor the session to reflect your relationship.
These sessions are completely private and respectful, designed to capture genuine emotion and chemistry while keeping things elegant and artistic. Whether you’re marking an anniversary, engagement, or simply want to celebrate your bond, we’ll plan a shoot that feels meaningful to you both.
Don’t worry if either of you is camera-shy – I’ll guide you both through every pose, making sure you’re comfortable, confident, and having fun. And as always, privacy is guaranteed – your images are never shared unless you give written permission.
Let me know if you’d like to explore a couples session, and I’ll walk you through what to expect and how to prepare!
